Evernote is definitely much better at gathering information than it is at using or sharing that information. I have heard that they are working on better collaborative tools and I am definitely looking forward to that day.

For now, it has its place alongside other tools. Maybe one day it will replace some of those other tools.

Hello - I just came across this post and your blog during my own attempt to google a solution for "evernote email looks like [expletive]"

Despite being such a great piece of software for copying pretty much any web formatted text & its layout, it is not designed to allow for any such flexibility in pasting those details out. In the emails, it wraps everything in a large green Evernote template. And have you tried making one of your notebooks public? The result is a webpage too horrid to use for any sort of "collaboration".

I'm just as confused as you are regarding why the developers layed out the application this way, and even more confused why no else seems to notice.

Well, nothing else left to do but grab a copy of this page and file it in my UnresolvedIssues folder! =)

Cheers

ben,

i read the whole thing. i have no clue what i read. but i read it. because we are friends. because we have meaningful conversations about how to say a word that plural. because we both like cigars. that is why. good day to you.
